Loved this resort. We only went to the water park since our daughter was too young to enjoy the mini golf, go karts, etc. This was a fun weekend get away.

We stayed at Metropolis one night and decided to splurge on the $25/person for unlimited use of Action City for an entire day. Well, we spent nearly 8 hours at Action City. Our kids, ages 10-14, loved the place. Go-karts were the favorite by far, as we rode them at least 15 times. The laser tag was fun, the mini-bowling was great, and the arcade-style games that were included were a blast. My husband was in heaven. We definitely got our money's worth out of the unlimited passes. The water park was more like a bonus- two of my kids didn't even want to go. For smaller kids, it's perfect. No huge dumping bucket every 2 minutes, warm water, a lazy river, and a very slow slide.
The room was a bit loud because the neighbors decided to have a party late at night.
Every staff member we dealt with was extremely helpful and friendly.
There was free wifi everywhere in the hotel.
We'll definitely be back!

Stayed on the first floor just off the lobby down the hall and was very noisy. You hear when someone shuts the doors and also if they are going down the hall. Also upstairs noise was apparent. If you want to relax and be asleep by 11 pm, I'd suggest not to book at this hotel on a weekend. Shower was broken and they didn't do anything to fix it other than tell us we could move all our stuff and go to another room. The pool had way too much chloreen(sp). We will not be staying at this hotel again.

We recently stayed at the Metropolis Resort for 2 nights and had a wonderful time!! The staff was VERY courteous, the food in the Pub was awesome and the waitress was very accomodating and friendly! The Monkey in the Middle pizza was fabulous!! The water park was very fun for us and our kids!! The one slide area was broken, but there was still plenty of things to do!! The lifeguards were very polite and helpful and were very good at their jobs!! They even had a "rubber ducky" race while we were there and our kids had a blast!!! The room was VERY nice, and the lobby was decorated beautiful for the holidays! As we left, we accidently forgot our childs little bunny to sleep with, as parents we were in panic, our child LOVES the bunny and sleeps with it every night and we forgot it a long ways from home!! We called the hotel immediately and spoke with the general manager Sara and she was the sweetest and most helpful person!! She contacted the cleaning staff right with us on the phone and let us know they did find the sleeping buddy:) She was SO nice and accomodating in our situation, she mailed us the bunny the very next day and truly cared about how our stay was while we were at the hotel!! Us forgetting the sleeping buddy had nothing to do with her job, but yet she was willing to go the extra mile for her customer!!! What a wonderful place to stay!!!! The staff at this beautiful facility should be very proud of themselves!!!!
