“IF YOU STAY HERE AFTER READING THIS, YOU DESERVE WHAT YOU GET”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2010

AWFUL..Consistently poor customer service, you'd have to repeat what you're saying to pry the counter people from their computer video games or cell phone calls, would not hear back from desk clerk on something requiring follow up.
NO BUGS, BUT STAINED AND GRIMY...Pillows that felt like they were stuffed with sock covered rocks, no additional pillows anywhere in the hotel apparently. The news says watch out for bed bugs, we found none; they'd moved.
DAILY DAY-OLD...Continental breakfast was the semi-fresh remains of prior days. Not enough to inspire the starving to forage for a meal--and nothing quite like community milk.
NO SHOWERS...'nuf said...should have brought sponges. The hand held is almost like camping inside, but without the s'mores.

“I love this hotel, everything you could want!”

I read the other reviews on the site but thought I would give this hotel a chance. I LOVED it. The food in the restaurant was great and the entertainment in the lounge was so much fun we sang all night long. It is a nice hotel to stay at. I will stay again my next time I travel through Spokane. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean thats all that matters to me when I travel. I was pleased.

I don't know where the pictures were taken or when, but they were not THIS hotel or not recently. Elevator not inspected, breakfast definitely inadequate, staff great but stay elsewhere, it's bad

“Very tired hotel, as close to basic as you'll find!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2010

Unfortunately, as funny as some of the previous reviews are, they are true! We booked this hotel, purely as a halfway stopover between Cascades and Glacier and, in fairness, we just booked the cheapest hotel we could find. With this one, you do essentially get what you pay for, which is largely nothing! The hotel is very tired, I think with a lot of ABVI places, they have just bought a rundown hotel in a town just purely to have a presence there, you could just have easily knocked this one down. There are good points, contrary to other people, we found the staff here to be very pleasant and helpful, they probably deserve a better place to work. We also slept incredibly well, we asked to be on the top floor, and maybe because you could count the other guests on one hand, we had a very quiet night! It is also easy to get to town from here, about a 10 minute drive and Spokane is a nice place to walk around.

However, when we entered the room initially, there were around 30 dead flies in there and a peculiar stain on the bedside table that may have been blood or sweet and sour sauce. The bed itself was fine tho, clean as a whistle and it just looked as tho they had changed the bed and not bothered with anything else.
The breakfast also, was a complete waste of time, basically two types of cereal and a few rounds of bread if you fancy toast. The coffee was the most watered down I have seen in my life, maybe one teaspoon of coffee to a litre of water would sum it up. Was also very untidy too, half of the cereal was on the floor and most of the available pots were already in the wash bowl. On our second morning, there was no butter in the hotel either, so we couldnt even have the toast. There was a bonus however, with the appearance of around 200 hard boiled eggs in the fridge, I managed to limit myself to just the 1!!!

Overall, there's no way I'd stay here again, there's no point, but if you do just need a nights rest in between places, then these hotels are generally less than $50 a room, so you haven't got much to lose!

“disgusting”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2010

Easily the worst hotel I've ever set foot in. Checked in because it was the only place in Spokane with availability, got to the room, turned and checked back out again immediately. Disgusting. Full of meth addicts. Dirty sheets, dirty towels hanging on the rails, coffee pot full of coffee with a layer of mold floating on it, used pube-covered soap. They told me my card wouldn't be charged but of course they charged it anyway. We carried on driving to Idaho. If you come across this hotel, don't ever believe you're too tired to keep on driving. This place needs to be closed down.
