Reminisce back to the late 80's early 90's for the top-end most popular joints in Spokaloo. Ankeny's..The Spokane House..Patsy Clark's, heck even Frankie Doodles. There...be done with it. Sad, but that's how the worm turns. The Spokane House is still trying to hang on, with one of the nicest views in town, and pathetically diner-like quality food. It's not their fault the area around them turned third world, but they really do need to change it up. The hotel/restaurant has been owned by a string of immigrant owners, and it's done nothing but go downhill in ambience and overall appearance the last decade and a half. That's not an indictment on folks trying to make a better life here, but it does affect their ability to upgrade in a corporate world. Perhaps what they need is a new ethnic overhaul with the menu, the name...everything. You still have that incredible view, and you should be able to capitalize on it. Dinner last night was not even worth posting a picture...

I have stayed here before and the new owner is really making alot of improvements. I really enjoyed the dining area with the filtered view of the city. My room was great and had all the ammenities I expected. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely stay here again!

Got there and room wasn't ready. We arrived at 5pm! Arrived at the room around 12:30am and no towels, no hot water, no soap, shampoo, etc. Went to front counter for a new ice bucket and the counter person gave me one with bite marks on it as if it was used for a dog bowl! Ughh!

We stayed one night on our way to Seattle. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean and meal at the restaurant was delicious and included a spectacular view of the mountains.
