Stayed for two nights end of July and loved it! Very clean, updated bathroom. We loved the pavilion out back where we cooked breakfast with our camp stove. The owners were great - very friendly and knowledgable! If we are out that way again we definitely would stay there!

Thr rooms were qauint & very clean...owner-operated folks were very nice. Have always just camped on our Cascade trips, but the Totem was definitely worth returning too--especially given the rain. No tent, yeah. Woould rcommend the Totem. Ask locals about food & lodging and they will tell you what you need to know and more! :)

i agree with all the other reviews about how comfortable the rooms, beds and towels are. it's so convenient to have a microwave and shared fridge because there are few restaurants or stores nearby, so bring plenty of food and groceries when you stay here.
the bathroom was new and the amenities were very good. however, the in-room coffee is weak and tv is limited to 15 channels. also the walls are very thin so you can hear tv and conversations, but the nights i stayed everyone seemed to go to bed early so it wasn't a problem.
the owner is nice and available for local information. it's a convenient place to stay for access to north cascades national park.
i thought the place was a little over-priced, but every place else in the area is VERY over-priced. so for the area, it's a reasonable rate.

Great place to stay at affordable rates. Don't let the outside fool you. the rooms are currently being renovated (ours had been) and very nice inside. Owner very friendly. My only suggestion, windows in the back of the room to allow for cross breeze and more light to come in. Kinda dark
