My husband and I accompanied several out-of-town family members (ranging in age from 14-65) to a family reunion in this small town. One thing you will notice in Prosser is that this Best Western appears to be the newest of the hotels, the others in the city appearing - at least on the outside - rather old and run-down.
Overall, this is a pretty standard Best Western. The rooms are spacious, the location is near a truck stop with fast food restaurants, as well as a small strip with a Starbucks and a couple of local shops. The free breakfast is one of the best I have seen with regard to variety (biscuits and gravy, fruits, yogurts, waffles, breads, coffee, milk and juice), and they have a nice little pool/hot tub that they gladly left open late, so that our family could continue to swim after hours. Speaking of the staff, they are very polite, easy-going and willing to help.
The furniture and general decor of the rooms are all quite out-dated; the mattress was fairly awful, but when you're only paying around $95/night, I suppose that's par for the course! My suggestion is to bring your own pillow, deal with the mattress and be superbly grateful for the excellent breakfast opportunities that await you in the morning!
