We only stayed as it was a holiday weekend and couldn't find a bed. This would be the only reason you would want to stay at this Hotel. The Hotel is situated on a prime piece of land right on the beach but it is well over due for a make over or a bull dozer and start again. Difficult to say anything nice about the Hotel, it is old the bedding was poor and the bathroom was old and not clean. Glad to leave the place. I will say however that it was cheap and I suppose you get want you pay for.

If they were going to demolish this resort, which won't be far in the future, they wouldn't have to move a single thing out of the room. There is nothing nice enough to salvage! We were so dissappointed in the "used up" condition of the place. It is not as shown on the website - and be sure to take your own shampoo as it is not provided! Neither are hairdryers! So (ladies) come prepared! They had left an empty kleenex box on the back of the toilet! huh? The sheets were like a size too small for the bed so they popped off the corners each night and you ended up sleeping on the mattress top. Our stove top burners had old foil that was so old it had pretty much worn thin to nothing. Why would they not replace this?? The oven was disgustingly dirty with old food. And there were bugs in the kitchen sink! The only thing decent were the towels - nice new towels! And the staff was nice and friendly.

As several other reviewers have mentioned, this is an older resort and the furniture isn't super fancy but I have to say that I have stayed in many fancy resorts and out of all of them this one is my favorite! The rooms are the perfect size and although the furniture is older they have always been clean (even the smoking rooms) and I've never had a complaint. We've stayed in the resort twice now and are planning our next stay for this Valentines day as it is our 5 year anniversary and we both love the beach! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a nice relaxing time and doesn't mind the small town feel of this wonderful resort!

we have been staying at this resort for over 8 years. i can honestly say that yes the rooms are old but this is a privately owned (not chain) place. i always get whatever i need there and have even been allowed to stay later on check out when needed. alot of guest unfortunatley trash the rooms. maybe the unhappy ones should go elsewhere.
