The service was great! The gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We arrived after dark so my children were pretty tired. We got a room on the first floor so it was easy to get situated quickly. The room was just the right size for our stay, and the kitchen with dishes included was very handy when the kids wanted water before bed. When we woke up, our receipt had been slipped under our door. This made checkout very easy, as all we had to do was drop off our keys at the front desk. No standing around waiting for printers or computers. All in all I would definitely stay at this location again!

I had never stayed at this particular chain of hotels and it was not bad at all except for one thing. When you book your room definitely request not to stay anywhere near room 418!!!!!! The gentleman staying in that room likes to play jazz LOUDLY and sings with the music. This went on late into the evening. If he wasn't playing music and singing I could clearly hear his side of the phone conversation. The staff was very friendly and other than my neighbor, it was a very quiet night. If you like a little support under your head for sleeping do ask for extra pillows as the ones I had did nothing for neck pain as they were flat as pancakes after a few seconds.

This hotel was the worst ever. It was so bad. The staff were clueless. They told me Ft Lewis was 5 minutes away when it was really about 25 minutes away. The woman who checked me in was literally wearing pajama pants and a tee shirt and had no idea if the room was paid for yet (when I booked it I gave a credit card but it hadn't been charged). When I went to exchange my towels they were out and told me to come back tomorrow- yet I needed towels now. How do you run out of towels, especially when you have to trade them in since housekeeping is not provided? The bed- I would have been better off sleeping on the floor. The sheets were not only short sheeted but they were rough and scratchy. The bed felt like a rock. It was so uncomfortable and I didn't get any sleep the entire trip. The hallway smelled like fried chicken and beef stew. Rumor has it there was a free breakfast but I never saw anything set out in the lobby. This was a horrendous hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone and definitely will never return.

We stayed here for a few months during the long transition from Tacoma to Port Orcahrd. I enjoyed the time there even spent Christmas and New Years there at the hotel and had a wonderful say. Recieved a Christmas card from the staff as well. I recomend this location for any visit to the area.
