“Surprisingly affordable excellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Stayed here for a business trip and was surprised by the upgraded facility. This is definitely a case where you should not judge a book by its cover.

Check-in staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had a king sized room that was spacious and remolded. The room was clean, modern fixtures and quiet, even for being on the freeway side of the building. Very affordable as well.

Dinner in the restaurant was ok. There is a good selection on the menu and affordably priced. I had ordered a steak medium and it was brought to me well-done. Otherwise, the food was good. The complimentary breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and an assortment of cereals, pastries and make your own waffle is worth the stay. Although not Starbucks the coffee stand in the lobby serves Starbucks coffee.

Overall, this was a great stay – I was pleasantly surprised at the modern comfort.

Room Tip: The non-freeway side of the hotel may have quieter rooms - lees traffic noise.

“Okay for the Money - Staff make the difference!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

Hotel didn't have interconnecting rooms which we would prefer as a family. Had rooms across the hall which was okay. Rooms large, clean and tidy. Little older and the day we left they were replacing older TV's with new flat screens. Indoor Spa/Hot tub wasn't working first night second night our teenagers tried it but said the chlorine was just too strong for them to stay in it. Indoor pool also had very strong chlorine the odour just too much for them to swim in there. Was great to have a laundry but the drier was not working the three nights we stayed there. Managed to get my washing dry though by cranking up the heater in the room and hanging things about (desperate times call for desperate measures :) ). Breakfast included was sufficient, waffle makers were very popular, was very much a 'help yourself'service the staff were a little slow on keeping the food and utensils required especially when there were alot of people about but when reminded or asked they were accommodating and friendly. We stayed there as it was handy to the Boeing Factory and Outlet Mall. Free parking was great and seemed to be a safe secure area. Would probably try somewhere else next time though as this hotel could do with a refurbish.

“Tulalip Shopping and Free Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We went to Everett and stayed for a night to do some shopping... i was originally looking in Marysville. The hotels were about 120/night... i went on priceline and booked this hotel for $70. It included a free hot breakfast buffet. We had a great stay and it was conveniently close to the freeway... we could go shopping at Tulalip and Everett... Looking forward to going back!

Room Tip: Choose one away from the freeway

“Very nice, helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We booked last minute for a room when a family member was hospitalized in Everett after a skiing accident. The reservation person let us know that there was a special rate available for Providence hospital. The hotel and the room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was included, and it was lovely, served in the attractive dining room. Everything was fresh and hot, lots to choose from, even fresh pineapple. We got a coupon for a free drink from the Starbucks located within the hotel. There was a shuttle service that took me to the hospital twice, right when I needed to get there. I can't say enough about how helpful everyone was at a stressful time. Highly recommend this Holiday Inn.

“No hot water !!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

The hotel itself was ok. Our room was right next to the ice machine so we heard the clanking of ice all night and the beds were hard as rocks . The room was basic and clean enough for us. The biggest problem was NO HOT WATER !! Cold that was it at 8 in the morning. It wasn't like they ran out they just didn't have any at all !! We didn't eat the next morning at the breakfast of which the restaurant was open. It made me ill to think that the dishes ect had not been cleaned with hot water YUK ! Hope no one got sick - Definitely a BIG NO for staying again !!
