Don was a wonderful innkeeper (Patty was working long hours, so we were unable to meet her) and we were very pleased with the accomodations. Johnny the Schnauzer was there to greet us, what a sweetie he was! The bed, a king-sized well-baffled waterbed, was extremely comfortable. The linens were smooth, cool, and luxurious, which felt great since the area is desert-like, and it was early summer. Our private 3/4 bath was lovely (and I especially liked the soap). Breakfast began with coffee and a big bowl of very fresh fruit, and finished with French toast - very yummy. Don was very personable, and it felt like we really were a welcome guest in his home.

Don and Pattie have done a great job with this renovated older home just a block off the beach at Lake Chelan. Their attention to detail and wonderful imagination has created a little slice of heaven on earth.

The King Size bed in their best suite is like a hug from your Mummy, without the nagging.

Great hospitality, wonderful conversation, good food and an outstanding location exceptionally well maintained, make this a great overnight stop or destination. Great for adults traveling with small dogs.
