Upon arrival, I was greeted by a nice man that led me up the steep steps to our room. Provided a quick review of the air conditioner. I was provided with no other information. Somewhat confused, I went to get my husband from the vehicle and our luggage. We returned to the room and was greeted by a barking dog. The Inn has three dogs on the property that are "barkers."
We settled in to our room that was hard to believe. The King size bed, although very comfortable took up the entire room. I opened the closed to hang my belongings to find the clothes that appeared to belong to the Innkeepers. Additionally, the medicine cabinet had their personal effects as well. This was just a little uncomfortable to say the least.
It was a difficult sleep since the window airconditioner kept rambling through the night and in the early evening the dogs would occassionally bark. The next morning, we were never informed of breakfast, but I decided to go to Starbucks for take out. With the three dogs roaming in the living room, my husband was uncomfortable with eating there.
There are no amenitites such as a room phone, television or radio. There is no common area that is not part of the Innkeepers and dogs very well lived in space. So, you are provided a bed for $185/night.
If you don't mind dogs barking at you everytime you enter the front door, walking up very steep steps to your room w/ a bed and very outdated, you might like this. Just not our cup of tea.
