Thankfully, my husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law only stayed for one night in this stale, unkept so called B&B. We booked last minute and there is no doubt we were suckers as we paid over $170.00 for a double bed, small shower and a breakfast in a basket. To say the breakfast was unsatisfactory would be an understatement. There is no doubt Mary Kay stocks up at costco with some juice and yogurts and adds a muffin, stuffs everything in a basket, and sends you on the porch to eat. This character home is historic but has not been kept up. The carpeting is disgusting and it bothered me to remove my sandals at the bottom of the stairs as Mary Kay requested, because I did not want my bare feet touching the carpets.
The furniture is tired and there are odd maniquin dolls throughout the house along with plastic flowers collecting dust. The entire home is creepy. Mary Kay told us that thousands of people had stayed at her B&B, but I wonder if anyone stayed twice.
