Staying at the Colonial Capital B&B in Williamsburg with Barbara and Phil was great. Beautiful home with wonderful breakfast (ask to join the 'Cookie Club'). Short walk to the Colonial Capitol and all that is Williamsburg--best B&B experience! Clean and full of hospitality with friendly owners.

From the moment we made the reservation inkeepers Phil and Barbara extended themselves in every way. We emailed and asked for recommendations for restaurants- they phoned to make suggestions and offer to make reservations. When we decided on a change of cusine for one of the reservations they were happy to make another suggestion. And what was better - the selections were all excellent. Everything about this B & B is perfect - the location, the warm and welcoming inn, the comfortable (and spotless) rooms - comfortable and welcoming and innkeepers who make you feel at home and is if you were friends for the longest time- and wonderful breakfast with good food and meeting other guests. A pure delight and true "hospitality" in every sense of the word!

A lovely historical home with all the modern conveniences, and just a few minutes' walk from the historic district. A real idyllic romantic getaway. Barbara and Phil are amazingly welcoming and seem excited to be hosting you and helping make your visit a good one. (To be honest, their enthusiasm was almost overwhelming - the welcoming introduction to the area took 5 minutes!) Breakfasts are hearty. A bit heavier than we are used to or wanted, but that's a matter of taste.

Colonial Capital B & B's great location, delicious breakfasts and welcoming hosts make it the perfect Williamsburg B & B. It's located a few short blocks from Merchants Square and the Historic District and across the street from William and Mary. We parked our car in their private spaces and easily walked every where during our entire stay. We've enjoyed each of their freshly prepared gourment breakfasts. Our favorite was called decadent french toast. Phil and Barbara are the pefect B & B hosts. When we returned for our second stay, they greeted us like old friends. Each of the rooms is comfortable and beautifully decorated and very thoughtfully appointed with extra comforts.
