For a special $30 rate what more could I have expected. The rooms were clean and location was great. Staff was also friendly. Will go back when traveling through Williamsburg.

this palce is nasty phones werent working trash piles everywhere cable was unplugged and told us to fix it.carpets were dirty and the kicker was a tampon aplicator behind the bed.they gave us our money back but acted like we were crazy go some where else
The woman at the desk was nice and helpful, the staff was good too, they gave us extra towels when we asked. The smell wasn't good, smelled like smoke when we entered, good thing we had febreeze. Didn't feel the most safe but there were other out of state cars in the parking lot. No inside corridor. The air-conditioning worked very well.
Going back to my old hometown for a family event, I just wanted a cheap room to sleep in, so I chose to go with the Motel 6 on Capitol Landing Rd. Many other family members chose one of the larger motels across the street, and they complained about that place all weekend long; I, on the other hand, was quite happy that I'd found a comfortable, decent room, with a mini-fridge and a microwave oven, for half what they were paying.
The manager on duty was friendly and did his work efficiently. The room was just fine, and the free wi-fi Internet worked well.
I was pleasantly surprised with this place -- it exceeded my expectations. Well done, Motel 6.
This place was disgusting! When we checked in, we were sent to a detached building, that people were actually living in (I believe it was the cleaning/ maintenance people and their families.). It was aweful. It had a horrible smell, the sheets and carpet were filthy! We could not stand to stay in this room> So we asked for a new one> After some hesitation and "searching, they found us one in the main building. The carpet was filthy, we had to sleep with our clothes on, and there were no clean towels to be had!! We did however have a good time reading the reviews of this place on tripadvisor, while visiting! Lastly, the pool was "out of order" so we had to go next door to La Quinta and use their pool. The owners own both hotels. The La Quinta didn't seem as bad. If you stay here, you will regret it!
