I spent two weeks at this Springhill Suites on business and it was one of my best hotel experiences ever. My room was beautiful with a large sitting area, king size bed, two flat screen televisions with accessible HDMI inputs and, I almost forgot, a beautiful view of the ocean from my balcony. Besides the well maintained room, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. My housekeeper, Judith, made sure that my room was maintained in top shape and that any of her assistants on the floor met her high standards as well. If I find myself back in the Virginia Beach area, this will be my first hotel choice.

We have stayed here three different times. It's a local getaway for us. We love the decor- very colorful and fresh. The rooms are great since they are all suites. I do see them sliding a bit on their upkeep though. We had to call when we first got in to have housekeeping come up to finish vacuuming. They were very quick about it and the staff was super nice. But there were other glaring oversights in the cleaning of the room.

We love the location. And the breakfast is really a nice perk. Our kids love the pool and whirlpool. I'm sure we'll go back.

I last stayed here in 2009, and was impressed with this hotel....and I"m happy to report, I returned again last week (January 2012) and was as equally impressed. This property is obviously well maintained - - everything looks brand new and CLEAN. The suites all have amazing oceanfront views, and two flat screen tvs which is nice. Wireless internet is free throughout the hotel and the rooms include a nice kitchenette with sink and fridge. One new addition was a front desk staffer - Rashawn. When our group arrived late on a Sunday evening, he greeted us with enthusiasm and a great attitude - - and remembered each of our names throughout the trip. He offered dinner recommendations and was just a joy to be around. I stand by my previous recommendation of this property - it's great!!

Stayed here the 2nd weekend of Jan and we had a wonderful time, all suite hotel, brand new beautiful colors. Staff was excellent, love the fact you need your room key to get back in after hours( great for safety), nice pool, suites were nice and big with 2 flat screen tv's. Only 79.00 per night which is a STEAL (with marriott reward membership) . Was a romantic get away but will surely come back with the kiddies in the summer. Excellent food and bars in walking distance (calypso's, planet pizza)... Will be making reservations for valentines weekend, Have always stayed at the holiday inn's but i think this is our hotel of choice from now on !
