Thank you for sparing your valuable time and writing us your feedback. In the history of receiving feedback from our guests, we have always honestly replied back. Where we are wrong, we are wrong.
Although, in this one I would like to elaborate a little more because we are being accused of having bed bugs. So, after our front desk agent gave us the feedback we closed the 3 rooms in that section and called, our regular pest control company that is a nationally recognized and licensed and bonded pest control company.
They did charge us a little over $600 to fumigate those 3 rooms. However, the experts that came tore apart that one entire room of your's and found not one bug or eggs or nests. But they were there and we did not want to take a risk.
I looked up and saw that since the time of checking in at 06.45 in the evening till the next morning at 6.20 AM next morning you did not get bit or bring the bed bugs to the front desk until check out. Plus your reservation was done as an employee of Choice hotels at a heavily discounted rate also. So, to avoid an explanation to the corporates, our front desk clerk refunded the entire amount back.
But, I assure you and all readers that out of all the complains we have had so far, your's was the first one for Bed Bugs. And whether they were really there or not, we did spend a small fortune to fumigate that room as well as the next 2 rooms next to that room.
