Nice hotel, well maintained and clean. Business oriented but good for families too. Hotel rooms are larger, with a king or two queens and a sectional sofa in the "living room". Nice flat screen plasma tv with a separate data/video input/output panel in the wall so you can hook up laptops, video games, etc. easily. Separate counter with sink and small refrigerator in the living room too, along with a work table with power outlets for laptops.
Another thing We liked was the bathroom vanity and mirror was separate from the tub/toilet so some else could be showering while others are doing their hair/ makeup. That really speeds up the mornings. The vanity area could have been just a little bigger but was still adequate.
The continental breakfast was the usual bagels, toast, fruit, drinks. It was good but nothing extra special. We ate it a few times but usually slept in past the 9:00 finish.
Other bonuses include free parking and free wi-fi.
The hotel is about 30 miles +/- from Washington DC, and maybe 10 from Dulles airport. It is just off the Lee Hwy--Virgina SR 7 and a couple of miles from SR 38 which takes you to Dulles and connect to other freeways into DC. It is also a couple of miles from several big box retailers and chain restaurants in the Dulles Town Center development. The hotel itself is in a business park, and everything requires you to drive to it.
We spent a week there visiting DC, Philadelphia(3 hours by car), and northern Virginia civil war sites. It was a great location close enough to get to DC within 30 minutes but also far enough away that we didn't have to deal with congestion and pay $40 to park our car each day, pay for wi-fi, etc.
On top of all this I booked it through hot-wire and saved at least $500 on my stay.
