Just a quick review....I stayed at the Best Western next to the Richmond Airport...I found it quiet and very polite staff. Nice breakfast....

We wanted a hotel close to the airport, but were concerned about noise. This hotel is just a hop and skip away, but we did not hear any planes coming in or taking off. Our stay was very quiet and comfortable. The room was clean and functional, the breakfast featured hot and cold items and was more than adequate, and our stay was pleasant. The wireless internet service worked well with our laptop. There is a 24 hour fast food restaurant just across the street, as well as other places in the nearby vicinity for a quick meal, and a very nice shopping area just a few miles away with other mid-range restaurants.

Room was outdated, needs some renovations in rooms to update. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean, NO smell. The hot breakfast was fair.

I was very impressed with the customer service of the staff. I was traveling with a college cross country team and we were crashing there before a 5:50am flight the following morning. We had one of our rooms that had a small issue and the staff quickly gave us another room. Also, they allowed us to take a 4am shuttle to the airport and picked us up after our flight back to Richmond returned around midnight. Because of the size of our group, the van driver had to make two trips each time. In both instances, the drivers were courteous. The rooms themselves were clean and, since we were basically there for 6 hours, there wasn't much time to critique.
