“Great Little B&B”

The Kingfisher B&B is a great place for a weekend retreat or a longer stay. David and Marie make you feel very much at home and will book restaurants, excursions or whatever you need. I'd advise taking advantage of this on public holidays when Kerikeri closes.

The room was very spacious and very well appointed with DVD player, stereo and had the weather been better we would have taken advantage of the outdoor area. It's nice to stay in a B&B that isn't chintz and twee.

It is a short drive from town (5 minutes) but the setting is lovely.

we stayed for 4 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast and really did not want to have to leave.
dave and marie made us feel very welcome and made sure our stay was trouble free.
the views are fantastic and it is so peacefull.
we woke up every morning to a nice home cooked breakfast ready to start the day off.
i recommend this bed and breakfast to anybody who is wishing to travel to the north islands.

My partner & I stayed for four night's - We had really only planned on staying two nights but there is so much to do in the Bay Of Islands that it was soon obvious that we needed longer! Marie & David made us feel so at home that it was hard to make our way to the airport on the last day. Kingfisher Retreat is a large, comfy house that feels so cosy. Set in a rural location yet close to the sea it was very peaceful.

Each morning we woke to one of David's fine breakfast's that lunch was rarely needed.

There are three cats on site who are simply divine! Beau is so cute... I want one.

We will certainly be coming back in the fall.
