The Dunes is a really well located set of apartments very close to beach and other amenities. I stayed in unit 1 which was spacious, well equipped, very clean and quiet. I couldn't ask for more and would definitely recommend it. The owners were very helpful and approachable - thanks very much for making my stay so comfortable. I'll be staying with you again on my next trip to Oz.

What a find! We stayed here after reading Trip Adviser reviews and we can all confirm it is as good as everyone says it is! Our family of five enjoyed our stay very much and there wasn't a single thing that we could be negative about. The Dunes is beautifully kitted out and has everything that a family might require, the location is fabulous and the owners are very friendly and maintain excellent standards.

What a find- we loved our week's stay here last December. I was visiting my friend in Sydney but she decided to join me in Perth for a week beforehand. The Dunes are owned by a lovely couple who couldn't be more helpful and were even involved in dropping us/collecting us from the airport. Free internet access and a huge apartment- we loved the outdoor garden area and even had a few nights in where we did our own BBq with fresh fish brought from the local market. The location made a great base to do the sights in Perth and the owners son ran the hire car place near so we took a car and did the national parks and lagoons- out of this world. The hotel location is great, Scaraborough Beach is a hit with the locals and is very clean and massive. The location is scattered with really decent food and you get a very wide selection of eateries and Hilary's Boat Harbour is close. We took a 2 bedroomed apartment which had our own very spacious private outdoor area which was linked to the BBQ area, the rooms were spacious and bathroom facilities nice- it even included a bubble bath. Great place to crash and great value considering how much space we got- so glad we didn't book any of the hotels in the area I feel certain that the Dune were the right choice when walking around the area and looking at the hotel choice. Would certainly book them again is we visited the area.

I just got back from a trip to Perth and have stayed in The Dunes for 5 nights. Prior to my travel, I was browsing around on Trip Advisor to get recommendations for places to stay in and The Dunes was highly raved about.

I got in touch with the owners, Karl and Evelyn, who were very accommodating. I say this as I got in late to Perth on a midnight flight and they were very nice about arranging my check-in and answering all my queries.

The apartments are huge and pretty much self-sufficient. Do note that while there are complimentary supplies there, you would need to provide for yourself should you be there for a longer stay. But this is no concern as there are supermarkets around to grab your groceries and stuff so all is good.

More importantly, the location is ideal for making it your base in Perth and heading out to different areas to do your exploring. It is also close to the beaches and thus, should you decide to take it easy, just take a short walk down to the beach and lounge around. Nice views are abound.

All said, I would highly recommend The Dunes and would not hesitate to stay there again when I visit Perth next.
