“Tranquility (with the best Rose in town!)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

My husband and I stayed at Seppeltsfield cottage for 4 nights over New Year. It was one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. Highlights were; lying in the huge classic bath with the doors opened out towards the vines, with a glass of chilled rose (Seize the Day do an awesome drop of Rose!), picking free tomatoes and herbs from the garden, complete peacefulness and tranquility to recharge our batteries. Sharyn was the perfect host - very accommodating and goes above and behind to make sure we had the best possible time. We will definitely be back. Wendy & Stuart

Hi Wendy and Stuart,
Yes, the Rosé goes down a treat, especially in the warm weather you experienced! It was great that you enjoyed the tomatoes from the garden, you will have to come back when the figs are ripe! (The cherries are ready in November!).
Cheers

“Quintessential Barossa”

My wife and I make a pilgrimage to Oz every other year for the Barossa Vintage Festival. We've had our eye on Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage as a place to stay for many years but we've usually been too late with our bookings to get in. After staying with Sharyn and Peter this year, I understand why it sells out so quickly. The cottage is meticulously restored and set right in the "Seize the Day" vineyard. Sunsets on the vines while having a glass of shiraz on the veranda cannot be described and should be on everyone's "bucket list." The hosts provide wonderful service but have that keen sense of how to maintain the guests' privacy...a rare but appreciated skill. The location is a perfect point to access all the Barossa vineyards and vintage activities. Book early for sure.

Thanks for the great comments guys! Only 12 months to the next Vintage Festival - we'll have a Sparkling Shiraz made by then - love to share a bottle with you both!
Cheers

“Luxury in the Barossa”

My husband and I have just spent two nights at Seppeltsfiled Vineyard Cottage and had an amazing time. The attention to detail was second to none and we were amazed at the fact nothing went unthought of. We also enjoyed beautiful wine from Peter's winery. We are already looking forward to going back next year. A big Congratulations to Sharyn & Peter....a touch of paradise!

“Anniversary celebration”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

A gift from our children - my wife and Joy were pampered for 2 idillic days at the Cottage.

Amongst the vines - an European garden with resident geese - peaceful and relaxed.

The cottage has every amenity and more and the degustation at the Appellation Restaurant toped all off.

The food and wine captured the culinary character of the Barossa to perfection.

“A slice of Barossa heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

We have been lucky enough to stay at the Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage twice now and will be ensuring we make a visit to this amazing, enchanting and relaxing corner of the Barossa annually. The hospitality we received from both Peter & Sharyn was exceptional and most importantly genuine.
Peter & Sharyn clearly have a passion and love for wine making and this certainly shines through in the amazing quality of their wines.
Staying at the cottage and experiencing the unsurpassed luxury and service that is offered is something that cannot be expressed in words. Peter & Sharyn could not do any more to make a stay in this beautiful cottage an experience that will be remembered for a long, long time.
