“very relaxing stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

the cabins are well equipt & comfortable, great for peace & quiet. we have stayed many times over the years.meals are fantastic,breakfast lunch & dinner, or just a cuppa on the verandah, you won't be disappointed.
or relax & have a friendly drink in the bar the company is great.
the 4wd tracks are a must, we slowly trekked up the mountain, what a breath taking view when we reached the top.
we suggest anyone passing thru Warwick or looking for a great holiday or short break to try bestbrook, you will love it. jack & julie

Room Tip: When booking make sure you ask for either a quiet cabin or by the creek

“Great place for all ages especially the kids. We will be back.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

We stayed for 5 days camping with 2 small kids. We had the best experience. Kids had plenty to do everyday. Feeding the animals, milking the cows, wagon ride, boomerang throwing, cracking a whip, butter making, damper and billy tea, horse riding. We went 4wd one day. Used the restaurant for some meals which was great. Highly reccommend for families. Good old fashioned hospitality.

“Great Family Camping”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

Just back from our second visit to Bestbrook with friends and again can say we were not disappointed. This is a good clean family camping experience and a great time was had by the whole family. An excellent camping experience for the kids and adults alike.

We spent a week on the farm, days were spent:
- feeding the farm animals and milking the cows,
- a wagon ride around the property which involved learning how to throw a boomerang, how to crack a whip, how to make damper over the fire and concluded with billy tea;
- horse riding lessons and subsequent trail ride;
- 4WD/ trail bike riding
- kids riding their bikes
- chopping and gathering firewood (there was lots of it)
- afternoons in the pool or drinks and nibbles around the creek.

Nights were spent
- having a drink at the homestead
- siting around the campfire
- roasting marshmallows

The property is by no means 5 star in accomodation or facilities, but it is not meant to be, it is not a hotel - It is a farm. It is a bush experience. You are surrounded by dogs, horses, ponys, cows and animals in general. But that is all part of the camping / farm experience and that is why we were there.

We had a powered site so were able to bring some luxuries such as a kettle and fridge. There are port a loos which are the cleanest port a loos I have ever seen. There are also basic shower/toilet blocks for those who want to shower. All were cleaned daily. There is also a good sized pool. Fresh water readily available. The homestead does meals and sells basics such as bread, milk, eggs, ice creams and ice for esky's. Warwick is about 30mins drive away if you need a mid week grocery shop.

Very friendly and helpful owners / employees.

All in all, we loved it and will definately go back. Highly recommend to those who love to camp and get outdoors, with the added convenience of basic but clean ammenities.

Room Tip: Accomodation is camping or cabins.
