We chose this property largely because of its proximity to a wedding venue & were greatly impressed with the quality of the lodgings, surrounding gardens & property & facilities for those with young families. We were even more impressed with the segregation of room types allowing those without children to be remote from those who were encumbered with them. Our group included both types of couples.
The family types enjoyed 2 bedroom chalets (stone cottages) & the free wheelers had split level bed/sitting suites.
All had air conditioning, microwaves ( cottages also had stoves/cookers ), fridges,TV, lounges & dining tables & individual outdoor BBQs.
A pool, tennis court, playground & communal BBQ area were an attraction for kids.
Best to bring a supply of food & beverages with you as the local store is not flash.
There is a great restaurant nearby at Margan winery, Pokolbin is about 25min drive away.
If you are looking for something different in the Hunter, give this place a go.
Ahhh, the serenity .

Very clean and comfortable, our self catering cottage had everything we needed for a lovely stay. A pleasant surprise for me was they provided us with all the little extras (like tea towels, shampoo and Sheridan bath towels) that we normally would have to bring ourselves when renting out a place. The knives were also sharp which is rare to see in self catering places. It seemed to be very child friendly and besides the alpacas, they also had chickens and ducks on the property.

It was a short drive to the Polkolbin wineries and we had all the Broke wineries at our doorstep. My partner and I left feeling wonderfully relaxed and at such a good price, we would definitely recommend this place to others.
