This hotel was a great wedding venue, very professionally organised, the hotel has been doing weddings for over 20 years. The food in the hotel is really good quality, the wedding breakfast and buffet was all home cooked foods. They do a very good value Sunday lunch too. The breakfast offers cereals, fruits, yogurts and then there is a cooked breakfast to order which was nice. The bar is well stocked and is reasonably priced - similar prices to chain pubs ie not over the top like some hotels in london.
In terms of the rooms I did see a lot of the rooms nipping in to see friends and family also staying in the hotel. Certainly the other reviews on this site are fair to say that there are a range of different quality rooms, and it sounds the executive suites are the best, but if you cannot afford this I think it is worth ringing and calling the hotel to discuss which room may be best for you rather than just waiting to be allocated a room. The room I stayed in within the main part of the hotel was next to the honeymoon suite and was very spacious. The family rooms were good value although at the top of the hotel.
If you are considering a wedding at this venue I would recommend it as it was a very smooth operation as the staff know what they are doing, they have a very good florist who they use as well. Additionally there is access to a large park at the back of the hotel which is good for pictures and as it is a public park you can use confetti to your heart's content - most venues completely ban it. There is also a nice courtyard area at the back nice in hot weather for a drink - about 40 guests spent all night out there as well.
Transport wise it is 5-10 minute from Harrow on the hill tube station - you can be in wembley in 5 minutes from there and 20 minutes to central london - good for wembley events and going in to the city. Lots of parking.
Overall highly recommended but I would advise you to talk with the hotel when booking to get a good room selection as some are better than others.
Room Tip: Call the hotel to book and discuss your preferences
