Our stay was unbearable so we checked out......The Hotel management have more focus on the operation of the Pub downstairs....The room was okay, however, many items were faulty, for example the TV aerial socket was missing as were the batteries for remote....We complained immediately after check-in but nothing was done to resolve the issue....Several hours later we returned at 10:30pm to settle in for the night but a band was playing in the bar, our room was directly above the stage and the noise was reverberating through the walls and furniture....We tolerated the band until they finished at 11:30pm but the jukebox music that followed was still very loud and was unbearable, so we complained to the bar staff.....They told us the music would continue until 1:00 am and refused to turn down the volume....We were not informed of the late license or the band when we made the reservation...We packed our bags and asked for the manager...He refused to provide a refund......
