We booked direct with the hotel via their website and had no problems getting a two night stay with breakfast only. Only a short walk into town where there were a few choices for lunch and dinner. The pool was gorgeous but could have done with some sun loungers etc.

we stayed here while hiking the camino--a bit dificult to find, but really nice place with gorgeous view, great pool and incredibly lovely staff. But in order to book it in advance we had to take the meal plan--as with several of the hotels along the camino who required the meal plan, that's where they made their money--the breakfasts were adequate buffet style, but the suppers were impalatable. I should have realized that when i overheard a group tour leader telling his tour that even though they had supper included he suggested they go down the street to a cafe for supper. There was a great flautist playing in the church in the town square in the evening--if he is playing, it's worth a go.

We stayed here on the second night of our trek on the last section of the Comino. The hotel was at the 'far end' of the village so, for walkers on the Comino, it entailed a little trek up a steep set of steps and then right through the village of Portomarin. (We had to retrace our steps the next morning, back to the bottom of those steps!) The hotel was clean and efficient and the staff were more than helpful. It seemed obvious that there was not enough staff on duty in the dining room but the two people on duty ran themselves into the ground to make sure we were all looked after. We had no complaints and enjoyed our brief stop here.

Best place to stay on the whole Camino! I enjoyed it more than the 4 star place we stayed at in Santiago. Lovely hotel - great swimming pool. My starter of pancakes in mushroom sauce was the best thing I ate the whole holiday. Went with friends - am hoping to persuade my partner to go there with me one day.
