I stayed here last October after a day of slogging through the rains of Galicia, and was quite happy to check in and enjoy the pousada's excellent bathtub. My room provided an excellent view of the valley. While it was too rainy for me to try the pool, it still seemed open for use.
I did not have the negative experience of the restaurant which others seem to have-- the food was not exceptional, but it was reasonable for the price. What was notable was the conduct of the restaurant staff when one of the guests collapsed at the table through dehydration and exhaustion. They leapt to her aid, called promptly for medical assistance, and assisted her from the room to the nearby lounge where she was attended by a doctor within a few minutes.
The pousada reflects the Spain of twenty years ago and is not a boutique joint, but the friendliness and hospitality of the staff easily make up for that.
