We booked half board into a Junior Suite. We were upgraded on arrival to a suite with a pool view. The suite was compact but still consisted of a bedroom with two single beds (pushed together to make a double) , a bathroom with a lovely shower, and lounge area with flat screen TV ( only two English news channels - it would have been nice to have a music channel in any language or a radio), two seater sofa bed and dining table with two chairs. There was a fridge and next to it a locked cupboard that we were informed had the now redundant kitchen! It would have been nice to have a kettle/tea/coffee making facility. The room was amazingly clean and the cleaner efficiently cleaned it daily.
The restaurant was small but the food was excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were buffets but the selection was always varied in the evening.
There were plenty of sunbeds and the pool was refreshing! - they only heat it in the winter months ( Nov to March), A beach towel could be obtained for a deposit of 20 Euros which could be exchanged each day and a safe box in the room that was 20 Euros deposit and 2 Euros a day.
The aparthotel is in an excellent location. It is next to the fishing village with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within minutes. A short stroll to the harbour where there are regular boats departing to Lanzarote or Los Lobos for day trips. The town beach and nearby Wakki beach are lovely and sandy with easy access to the sea. There is a very nice bar here where you can sit and watch the sunset with a glass of wine.
If you are thinking off going to the Dunes by the Rui Hotels they are actually over an hour away on foot but there are buses or a taxi(6 Euro each way).
If you like spas and you have a poor weather day only 20mins walk to the Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real Hotel which has an excellent spa for only 20Euro each all day
