“First Class Hotel”

I have recently stayed at this lovely hotel. From the minute we arrived until the minute we left we received excellent, friendly service. Nothing seemed too much for any of the staff. The bedroom was well furnished and clean. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was amazing. The choices were plentiful, and the day to day variety inspired. The welcoming dining room staff made eating a pleasure. The situation of the hotel on a beautiful sandy beach is super. The walk into town takes about an hour to an hour and a half depending on how energetic one feels. The sea view is lovely but the large, naked men are not such a pretty sight! The town has some good restaurants along the front but generally is not an interesting place.
For reading and relaxing, the hotel is ideal. If you wish to do more then the options are quite limited.

Room Tip: We over looked the carpark (and sea) which was great as we got the afternoon and evening sun on the...

hi, just got back from the riu palace in fuerteventura, all i want to say, is believe all the good reports about this hotel they are true, and forget the bad ones. We went for our 40th wedding anniversary and the hotel was everything we wanted, just a few points,

1. The food is excellent in the dining room, but you must visit the Krystal restaurant for one night it is part of the package.
2. Excellent location and beaches could be some of the best in the world
3. If I have one and only one point to make which was not a problem more of an inconvienience the evening dining times are fixed at 6.00 or 8.00 and you decide at the begining of the week which you want, and you can change if you ask the day before, but we prefer to eat anytime from 6.00 onwards at one sitting.

Just like to thank the hotel and the staff for a good holiday

Room Tip: ask for a high room , if you do not have a sea view, the view is just as good at the back looking ov...

“Impossible to fault”

Just loved this hotel went alone for the new year wanted a chill-out holiday.. and after looking at the reviews of this hotel was hoping to get just that..in fact what i got was a really fabulous holiday in a hotel that is as good as any i have ever stayed (and i have stayed in many)from the service..nothing was to much trouble..the food although i had reservations about buffet food i need not have worried the food was amazing could not believe the choice and how good it was at breakfast and at dinner ..i ate at Krystal restaurant 2 nights which was a la carte and could not believe there was no extra charge apparently this is the norm in riu hotels.
there is hardly nothing around the area and only the sister hotel next door so if your looking for nightlife fun this is not the place for you..i went into Corralejo once in the daytime for some lunch and then once in the evening only 1euro on local bus or 6euros by taxi and this is well worth the visit..many bars and good restaurants..can also catch a ferry to Lanzorote which only takes 20 minutes..anyway back to the Hotel and as my headline suggest if your looking for a relaxing holiday in a spotlessly clean hotel with excellent food and service to match look no further and i promise you will not be disappointed

Room Tip: poolview rooms are best

“Fabulous Vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

We had a fabulous stay here over the Christmas holidays. There is no other hotel that offers the same type of secluded surroundings in the middle of a national park. We drove around the island and the other hotels (even a few pricier ones) are located in downtown Corralejo or Costa Calma which are tacky and overcrowded.

Most of the people were senior-citizens, but that didn't bother us. The guests were quiet, respectable and kept to themselves, just what we needed on this trip. Not too many kids which was another plus!

The staff was absolutely OUTSTANDING-among the friendliest service we have ever experienced.
The location is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The food is quite good for buffet (not a fan usually). There is also an a la carte restaurant where you can make a reservation and it was excellent.

One important tip: for lunch, a coffee or a drink go to the 'chiringuito' (beachside bar/grill) on the right of the property. They are the kindest, friendliest two people on the island I believe. They serve fresh fish amongst other items. The food was fantastic and a great value. It may look simple, but we went back and had lunch there EVERY day!

The grounds are very clean, as is the beautiful, pristine beach outside of the property. The decor is a bit passe, but in general very clean.

There were many people from Germany and the UK and the staff try to speak both languages contrary to what other posts have claimed.

Many guests have been going there for 30 years and I am not surprised.

We would go back in a heartbeat! Great choice!

“Wonderful winter holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

We’ve just returned from a week at the Tres Islas – what a wonderful way to start a new year with a bit of winter sunshine. As many other reviewers have said, the hotel is fabulous and everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. All the staff we met during our week were so friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have a room on the third floor with a wonderful view over the pools, beach and sea and had the sun on the balcony all day. We thoroughly enjoyed walking along the beach every morning and on two occasions walked to Corralejo and back (although there is a local bus every 30 minutes and costs E1.20 per person).

The food in the restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice (hot and cold dishes) at both breakfast and dinner and even the fussiest of eaters would manage to find something! One evening we dined at Krystal Fusion, again this was excellent – first class food and service (and no extra charge).

The rooms were comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day, although as other reviewers have said, the mattresses are firm. There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space (and sufficient hangers included).

There was entertainment in the evenings with the resident duo and shows alternative evenings. One evening there was a Four Tops tribute band (Two Oceans) – they were really good and interacted with the audience. There was also a piano bar which was more intimate.

For a totally relaxing break away from the busy centre, we would certainly recommend the Tres Islas and personally would return without hesitation.

Room Tip: Worth upgrading to a sea view, particularly those overlooking the pool area.
