“Beautiful villa, relaxing holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

My boyfriend and I just returned from a week in Correlejo at Bahiazul. We decided to stay here after reading the tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed!

We spent most of our time on the roof terrace, sun bathing, grilling, and relaxing in the jacuzzi at night. The staff were excellent and responded quickly to any problems.

I rate Bahiazul at 4 stars for the following reasons: the wifi does not work in the villas, only on the street or in the office/restaurant, the bed and pillows are not the most comfortable, electricity in the villas will go out if too many things are running, for example pool heater and air conditioning.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will return in the future! It seems to be one of the nicest places in Correlejo.

Have been here 3 timers before but this villa was the best as it was the latest to be built and had a few extra refinements, love this complex and the design of the villas very high spec with pool and jaccuzi. We like the fact that we are happy to stay in some nights rather than feel we have to go out as you would in a hotel or small appartment. Would recommend a hire car as complex is away from the town and beach although a new supermarket has just opened within walking distance, taxi is only five euro to town if not.I would drive into town at night and get a taxi back and enjoy the walk in the morning to retrieve the car.looking forward to going back in May

“Christmas December 2011 in Villa Romana, Bahiazul, Corralejo.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

A beautiful villa in Corralejo. The pool and roof terrace are spectacular and light up beautifully at night. With an internal and external audio system you can plug any device in that takes a standard earphone connection and stream your music throughout this property with separate controls in every room even at the pool and on roof terrace.

The roof terrace is the perfect place for a party or to get away from the kids, with plenty of seating, a Barbeque, sink and plenty of tiled counter space for food. There is also a table for six and a Jacuzzi Hot Tub and two sun loungers. If you feel your missing home and want to do some laundry, the washing machine is also on the roof and with the gentle breeze and hot sun it dries in minutes.

Located in a secure resort of Bahiazul, with 24 hour security, Villa Romana is very luxurious inside and is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We all fell in love with this place. The kids spent all their time in the pool day and night so much and we will definitely be back again! This is the absolute perfect place for a romantic getaway or to host a party. There is a fabulous Restaurant, Spa and Tennis court on site and Sven and Pascal are fantastic hosts and are on hand to offer any assistance you may need. Bring pool shoes as the white ground gets slippy when wet.

If you rent a car in Corralejo Airport or in advance, be careful of Hertz Car Hire. Even when booked and payed for in advance we had to wait 3 hours when we landed to get the keys of our car, and it was the same when we were departing and we spoke to people who were 2 hours in the queue. People have to keep queuing as they have all booked online and have paid in full and will loose their money and will loose their car if they leave the queue. It takes on average 30 minutes to process one booking.

Villa Romana is in a quiet peaceful scenic location with a big Mercadona supermarket a short stroll down the road that is stocked with absolutely everything you could ever need and some lovely local bars. Taxis are 4 euro to go down to the strip. The beach is a 40 minute walk across the Natural Park sand dunes or a 10 minute drive away and they are absolutely beautiful.

I would really recommend this Villa for Romantic Holidays, Groups of Adults, or families with older children. It is as good as the Website Photos!

We are really looking forward to going back.

Have a great Holiday!!

Room Tip: Two bedrooms en suite only accessible from the pool area.
