We visited Waikiki for 2 weeks in july 2009. It was perfect for our family, we have 3 children (4, 6 and 12 years old). The people who worked in the hotel was very serviceminded and helpful.
It was close to the beach and there was a pool that we used every day.
There was no nightlife in the hotel, wich was perfect for us.

We stayed at the hotel Waikiki in Alcudia for two weeks in may-june 2007. We liked the hotel it´s small,clean and peaceful and the apartment was great . We usually stays at (larger) hotelresorts when we travel som this was a bit different. There was a breakfastmenue to order from (and not the buff´style we are used to). There was not a restaurant only a snackbar. There wasn´t any entertainment. We had a nice holiday but we didn´t like Alcudia very much. Mallorca is great but Alcudia is not (in my opinion) and we won´t go there again.
