“Fantastic Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011

Stayed at this hotel for a week. The staff were very heplful and the service from bar staff and waitresses at meal times were fantastic. A very upmarket Hotel, mainly German holiday makers, so the standard was high. with no rowdy kids like usual english hotels. The food at breakfast was to a good quality and plenty of selection for the evening meal. The staff were very quick to take away empty dishes and bring additional drinks.
Would certainly go back to this hotel and reccomend it to anyone. It was in a prime position for the beach and all bus routes. Cannot fault it in anyway...

“Excelent Choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

Stayed here for 8 nights at the end of July 2011. Booked via Travel Republic. none of the british package operatorsv seem to use this hotel

The hotel is arranged as 2 blocks with reception in the middle. there are about 40-50 rooms. All rooms and balconies face the rear looking on to a pine forest. The coridoors are open and run along the front overlooking the pool/bar area. The balconies get the sun late afternoon and are good place to retire to when the sun goes behind the building at the pool side.

The hotel is mainly frequented by middle classs German and Spanish customers and is better for it. No noisy British yobs. Overall the hotel is very quiet and we were never disturbed during the night at all. The bar closes at midnight latest. If you want karaoke, bingo, reps singing, or to get drunk. This is not the hotel for you.
There is free WiFi in Reception and the bar, and at one end of the pool area.
We had breakfast included and the buffet was good with a selection of hot and cold meats cereals fruits and pastries

All staff speak good english and are extremely poli.te and helpful. Service is excellent.

Its about a ten minute walk to the sea, and another ten to the sea front restuarants and beach. There is a bus stop nearby. The resort, like the hotel, has a high German percentage. We arrived by hire car, and never had any problems parking within 100m of the front door. In fact we never had any real problems parking anywhere, the only place we had to pay was in Palma, by the cathederal.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 3 children. It is split over 3 half levels, with the master bedroom and bathroom on the entrance level. A huge bedroom down a half flight of stairs, where the 3 kids slept, and the lounge, kitchen, balcony, up a half flight of stairs. There were 2 showers over the bath, one for the kids. Very powerful and the hot water never ran out.

The pool area was well maintained and the pool clean. Not many sunbeds though. you need to claim your spot by 9:30 if you want a bed by the pool. There are more on the rooftop area, but these were rarely used.

Overall an excellent choice for good quality quiet accomodation. Would go again.

Room Tip: 106 109 nearest the pool

“We would recommend this hotel”

this hotel is situated at the eastern end off C,an Picafort, in a mainly residential area. the nearest beach and supermarkets are approx 15 min walk. the hotel caters for a mainly German clientel, but all the staff speak English/German/Spanish also. the hotel is very clean. we upgraded to half board on arrival, and it turned out to be the right decision. the evening meal is a buffet style, perhaps more to German tastes than British, but most dishes are similar.the buffet breakfast was a standard european type. the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the resturant staff likewise as soon as they realised we were Scottish. i would use this hotel again.

“It's still great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 May 2011

Two years later, and a visit in between my last review and this one - I've got to say that this hotel is still great. The staff; who've nearly all been working there for several years are still very pleasant, professional, very hard working and friendly, the facilities like pool and small gym are still very good and beyond the expectations of a small hotel. The pine forest outside the bedroom windows and the short walk to the beach all make for a peaceful and tranquil holiday environment.

“Still has fantastic service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2009

We were on the island and dropped in to see if it was open and it was the end of a long summer season and closing for winter the following week, it surprised us that the staff immediately recognised us and suggested our usual drinks order (we usually have one drink in the evening so we're not exactly lounge lizards)... We booked in and stayed. It was just as pleasant in October as it had been in May.

The facilities had expanded with a new little gem of a gym, childrens playroom and yoga space. Otherwise everything was the usual very high standard.

The pine forest behind can't be unremarked! It is a nature programme come to life - each morning starlings arrived in a flock of 1,000s at 8.00am and chirped and whistled for 10 minutes before splitting up and silently leaving.
