This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I just got home a few hours ago and felt it neccessary to warn others. Firstly, the staff for the most part was cold and not very courteous. An example was when I went to get my room key, the guy at the front desk saw me and none the less proceeded his conversation with a colleague in a hidden area and ignored me. The rooms were horrible. The bathroom was very old and dirty as was the rest of our room. The maid did her best to keep the room clean and was probably the only staff member that greeted us with a smile. As for the dining experience, not very impressed. Firstly, one evening my wife forgot to write on the menu the need for a baby meal for our 10 month old. Even though they had prepared it the previous days, they refused to make it. Pathetic! The next evening, our friends who were dining with us sat at the table before us. They asked for the first dishes and were given ours aswell. We arrived 15 min later to cold food and apparently it was our fault. The food was ok but I thought there would be more than 1 fish option. The buffet was always the same every day and you often saw the left overs from the day before. The maitre was also a buffoon. As for the rest the hotel, I would not reccomend it to people with babies or people in a wheelchair. There are stairs everywhere and you cannot go anywhere without doing stairs. We had to continuously go up and down stairs with a baby trolley because the 1 elevator in the hotel of 100 rooms would not stop at the road level nor was there a sloping sidewalk. The parking lot was not paved so it was impossible to roll my luggageon the gravel. It was also covered with grape vines that left a resin on my car.
The only thing good about this hotel was the beachfront location. But for the same price you can find hundreds of hotel worth their valve. We left this place feeling ripped off. Looking at the hotel from the beach it looks like an abandoned building in the gaza strip!
