Stunning country house, comfortable and wellcoming room, amazing surroundings, delicious breakfast and over all the kindness of the hosts! It has been a wonderful stay for the two of us, we literally felt in love of this place and we recommend it. Me and my boyfriend we were looking for a relaxing place, not far from some attractions and at the same time comfortable like being at home, we found Il Molendino matching our needs and expectations.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It is a bit out of the way, so if you want to stay closer to Pisa of Florence it wont be the place for you, but it is easy to get to and there are many things to do with in a driving distance. If you have a car and don't mind staying a little out of the out of the way, this is the perfect place. Our breakfasts were always fresh and delicious (vegetarian friendly) and the hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

I have had the fortunate experience of staying at Il Molendino twice and plan to many more times. I can think of nothing negative to say about the experience. The first time we visited, we were able to get some freshly pressed olive oil...an amazing addition to the entire experience. The environment is unlike any other, Fabiola and Stafano went out of their way to help us, the rooms are immaculate, the surroundings are peaceful and calming. I have suggested to many friends and family to pay for a flight simply to spend some time at Il Molendino because the experience is unlike any other.

The first time I visited, I was there with my brother. The second time, I went as two couples. Once in the spring and once in the fall. Both experiences were equally enjoyable.

If you are going to be staying in the area....stay at Il Molendino!!! You will not regret your decision.

Fabiola and Stefano have turned this old oliveoilmill into an absolutely wonderful B&B, with beautiful rooms and a big kitchen. The surroundings are peaceful with a big garden just in touch of the hillside. We could easily get up on the mountain nearby where the view over Calci and Pisa is just breathtaking. Fabiola and Stefano was very considerate and helpful hosts, that gave us all the information and help we needed to get the most out of our stay in the region. My daughter just loved their friendly cats and we all felt that Il Molendino is a very cosy place. Just what we had been looking for.
