“Best Food in Amalfi...maybe all of Italy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Our local friends in The Amalfi Coast took us here to celebrate my friend Nikkia's Birthday. After three days of lackluster food in Italy...I was beginning to wonder if there was any good food to be had.

I should have known that the stamp of approval from a local would mean that the food would be INCREDIBLE. This was the tastiest, freshest and most delicious food I have had EVER! I am NOT a meat eater, but I love fish...and if you all are like me, then you will love this place.

You HAVE to have the Seared Tuna Starter when you go here. It is so moist, tender, juicy, flavorful...it's an EXPERIENCE! Order it, and thank me later.

I had the Sea Bass with Lemon Sauce as my main course and I promise you, it did NOT last 90 seconds, and I have the pics to prove it. Best Sea Bass EVER.

Have I mentioned that the ambiance and the service are impeccable? I know that this place is crowded in the summer, but do yourself a favor and come in the winter. There is no line, no wait...and again, the BEST food ever! They made my friend's birthday in Italy so special and even surprised her with a cake. This is just the kind of place that you come to for the first time and they make you feel at home.

Enjoy,

Marshana

“Very good Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

This is a very busy restaurant in the middle of Minori with a very good extensive menu & choice of wine. We visited twice, once to have Pizza and then on a busy Sunday. A lot of the locals use the restaurant, so you know it's going to be good.

The food is excellent along with the friendly service. The prices are a little higher than most of the local restaurants but well worth a visit.

“Best pizza and vongole ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

When we stayed at Marmorata we have been 3 times to this restaurant. The food is rather expensive for Italian standards but it is worth the price. They serve excellent house wine (red and white) from a local producer for a fair price. The spaghetti Vongole was superb. And the pizza is in my eyes the best I have ever tasted. Better than the famous Sorbillo that we have visited in Naples. The waither who is serving the left side (when entering the restaurant) is such a nice guy. He always offered us a free limoncello. One night, he offered us 3 different Limoncello's in a row! So, if you stay at Minori, try at least 1 time this excellent restaurant. You will not regret it. It is also popular with the locals, seen the number of take-away pizza's they buy every night...

“Southern Italian cooking at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

Fine local ingredients, simply cooked and beautifully presented. The service is seemingly effortless and notably the same level of attention is given to the guests regardless of whether they have chosen from the pizza or a la carte menu. There is an extensive wine cellar with many fine wines available. We have dined here for 10 years and can't wait top return. What better recommendation can I give? Jeff Kent UK
