My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. this was a perfect location for our needs! We requested a room with a view of the castle ruins and it was perfect. We had a very spacious and comfortable room with a balcony. Our hosts were wonderful and the breakfast was perfect, again as you eat your breakfast you look up to the castle ruins. We had no trouble finding the B&B. We loved their doggie Picasso, who was so sweet and friendly. We drove a little ways to a hiking trail and we took a beautiful hike to Neuschwanstein Castle. I think we may have been the only ones on the hike it was beautiful. after that we hiked to the Ehrenburg Castle ruins that we could see from our room. We were the only people there at 5:00 at night, it was beautiful. We highly recommend staying here. The price is absolutely unbeatable! All you will ever need for your trip to Neuschwanstein and castle ruins.

We stayed just one night at this beautiful little inn, and wish it could have been longer. Easy to find just a mile or so out of Reutte it was perfect for us after a long day traveling down from Rothenburg and stopping to see Mad Ludy's digs. Our room had a balcony which looked out upon the castle ruins on the hill. Clean, cozy, warm and quiet. Just right. We were driving, so we wanted a spot off the beaten path but not too far out. This pension was perfect for us. We had a room with a double bed and two singles, a small porch and a bath. The room was clean and adequate in size. The furnishings are a bit dated, but that shouldn't interfere with your stay. The breakfast is in a room where you can look up at the Ehrenburg ruins. The owner and staff are friendly. Breakfast was terrific. Reutte is a quiet town, so if you're looking for nightlife, this is not the place for you, but if you want to see where real Austrians live, shop and eat, this is a great place.

My husband and I stayed two nights, and were very impressed by the value of this pension. My only problem was there was a slight musty smell, and I am very sensitive to smells. Other than that, it was perfect. We had amazing views of the ruins, which we hiked to one evening -- a highlight of our two-week Europe trip. We didn't mind that they didn't have a resturaunt -- we just visited a nearby spot. The bathroom was very small, but the shutters closed to make a pitched-black room and the beds were very comfortable. The area is just breathtaking. We are planning to stop here again on another trip.
