This is a good hotel and located on the best street on the island, right next door to a 7/11. also close to bars a restaurants, if your planning on renting a car then one day is enough, you can drive around the island in a few hours, the staff in the Chang Buri hotel are great and its a clean hotel, the only fault i found was that the Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby and not in your room, but otherwise a lovely place to stay, great swimming pools,

Stayed in a deluxe seaside view room. Room was excellent clean very comfortable and plenty of room, bathroom had a separate bath and shower. The only thing with the room that was a little unusual was that you entered the room through the bathroom and walked through that to get to the bed. There were opaque sliding doors that gave privacy between the bedroom and bathroom but do feel they could have benefited from the lock or catch.

The hotel surroundings were excellent clean and very well maintained, there was no beach outside but that was a couple of minutes walk/swim away. There were steps down from the sun lounges direct into the sea (be careful as the signs stay very slippy). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It is not made clear when booking that the cheaper, "hillside" rooms are actually across the road in an old, dumpy hotel. We fell for this. The room was only $35 US but it was terrible - a shabby room with a broken toilet and a terrible odour.
