If you can afford the room with private terrace over looking the ocean - go for it! It's a little bit more expensive but really worth it when you sit a bit high up on the cliff watching the sunset.

Nice beach with other bars and restaurants, lovely rooms...We've been around Kho changs many beaches and we think this is the best location, so far.

Stayed in cliff view deluxe room, most amazing view of the sea, however the rooms are a bit shabby and dont warrant the high prices.
The breakfast is okay and food in the restaurant good. The beach is rocky and not private.
However the POOL is the most amazing infinity pool ever...it made up for the poor condition of the rooms.
Air Con! In our room they had an in-room air conditioner, which froze over during the night and stopped working...really annoying.
be prepared for some uphill walking too as you have to work to get to the views and not the warmest reception.
All considered it is a great little resort, but the rooms could use some improvement to justify the price.

Been there with 3 of my friends and had a nice stay in this paradise.The food is fantastic,both thai and international.And the beach,there is nothing to say,one of best i have ever seen.would definitely go there again.

If you were taking a shower and the back drop out of your bathroom window was the rain forest how amazing would this be! Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort was fantastic! We stayed in the Cliffside Superior Villas which were obviously the newer builds of the resort, the ones nearer the beach looked a little bit tired and dilapitated. However I would recommend this resort to anyone. The infinity pool was fabulous and many a photograph was spent here! Beautiful!
The service, bars and restaurant had a 10pm shut down which initially we thought was bad service, however the town was so near with many bars and restaurants that this did not become a problem. The location was ideal and although there was an obvious difference between the type of accomodation here you know that in the end this resort will perfect it. Prices will increase and it will lose its charm. Go here while you get the chance!
