At the recommendation of my co-worker, I made reservations for my Pen Pal to stay at the Comfort Inn Monticello. Being that it was the first time meeting my Pen Pal, I wanted to make sure everything was squared away for her.

The room was clean, neat, and comfortable. The hotel management and staff were very cheerful and professional in making sure my Pen Pal (now *girlfriend*) was both comfortable and satisfied with her accommodations. At my request, the hotel staff also made sure to place my 'Welcome to Charlottesville' gift in her room, in advance of her arrival; they even followed up to make sure that she received it later that evening, after our ski adventure at Wintergreen Resort.

The complimentary breakfast provided in the hotel dining area the next morning was pleasant, convenient and tasty. Making homemade waffles with the waffle maker was easy, and added enjoyment and adventure to the breakfast experience!

All in all, I highly recommend the Comfort In Monticello as a place to stay while visiting local wineries, pursuing a skiing adventure at Wintergreen Resort, or visiting Charlottesville in general.

Great staff from front desk, manager and housekeeping. Really clean hotel. Manager was very supportive when I had a non-hotel emergency and inquired after me several times.

I stayed here for 2.5 weeks. The staff was friendly and attentive, the breakfast was excellent. Eggs, sausage, belgian waffles, three types of cereal, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juices and coffee and oatmeal. If you're in the area and looking for a quality place to stay try this comofrt inn, you wont be disappointed.

This property is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed having a fridge in our room.. The bathroom was roomy. I would stay there agian.
