My wife and I stayed here during Labor Day weekend. Our room was outdated, the air conditioning was lukewarm which made room feel musty. The breakfast was so overcrowded there was nowhere to sit and a long line. Location not within walking distance to anything. Disappointed and will not stay there again.

I do not recommend this hotel. We checked out after one night but are being charged for multiple nights. Managament difficult to work with on this issue.

Stayed here for the football game and was pleasantly surprised. This is a very clean hotel. with some surprising amenities for a budget hotel. There is an indoor pool and jacuzziJ The pool was not "cloudy green" even though it may appear that way if you only look thru the window from the hall. The pool area was very clean is just not painted that bright turquoise blue that you may be used to seeing. There is a small exercise room with a very nice treadmill, some weight lifting equipment and machine similar to a spinner. Breakfast was included: Coffee, juice, milk, cereal, waffles, pancakes, french toast, yogurt, fresh fruit. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There are 4 pillows on each bead. There was a task chair as well as a regular chair. TV's are a bit dated (no flat screen) Staff was very friendly. This hotel has excellent rates as hotels in Charlottesville tend to be much more expensive that other similar type towns.

We have stayed in plenty of Sleep Inn's before, as my Hubby and I travel through America on road trips once a year, but once we opened the door to our room, we could smell a very strong ammonia type smell, so asked to be moved, which they did, but young receptionist didn't seemed bothered to investigate the smell. When we went to move our suitcases, another couple opened the room next to ours, and they had the same strong smell and had to be moved. As we had been on the road a while, we went straight into the indoor heated pool for a 'relaxing swim' but found the pool freezing, air conditioning on, so the air temperature was cold aswell, the pool colour seemed strange and also had a strong ammonia smell too, and the bottom of the pool floor was so rough I actually cut my foot. Thankfully we were only staying for one night, so was glad to leave the next morning.
