If I ever return to Charlottesville I won't have to worry about finding a place to stay. The English Inn is the perfect spot: great room, great amenities, and great value. Special thanks to Megan and Lindsay for their cheerful smiles and excellent service.

Great breakfast srpead; calm and relaxing, impressive suite, reasonable rates

My wife and I stayed at this hotel a few days ago and we enjoyed the stay there. The Hotel has chracter (English Tudor style building etc) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location, about a 10 mts drive from the campus of UVA. The room is large and the beds were one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Free wifi in the room was very helpful to use our laptop. The price was very reasonable and was very good value as it included a buffet breakfast with cooked food. All in all we recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here during future visits.

The English Inn was a really nice, well maintained and friendly hotel to stay at. My room was excellent (mini king suite) and the mattress was phenominal! They provided a hot breakfast each morning and afternoon tea with cookies and snacks. One of the best things was the fact that I could use Gold's Gym for free! The gym is huge and spotless and within walking distance. the people at the Inn were incredible, espicially the receptionist by the name of Megan. Her cheerfull and infectious smile really made me and all around her feel super welcome and taken care off. thanks English Inn for a great stay!
