I stayed at the Inn last week on business for 2 nights. I chose it because of the proximity to the downtown area. It was two small blocks to the pedestrian mall, where there were several restaurants and shops. I felt very safe walking there alone. The Inn was nice and my room was decorated beautifully. I was worried about the train, but it didn't bother me at all. The only thing that did bother me was the heater. It was very loud and it was difficult to get the room the right temperature.
This was my first trip to Charlottesville and the ladies at the desk were very helpful. They gave great advice on restaurants and things to see and helped with directions. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was a nice touch and the cheeses were excellent. Breakfast was also very good. Overall, a great experience and I would stay again.
