Towed our 23' boat from Lancaster PA to Eastern Shore VA. Planned to fish out of Kiptopeake. Shore Stay Suites is close to the ramp and very nice. We stayed four nights. Cookie Francis manages the motel and has rules that keep it nice. It is suitable for fishermen and families. You will not smell fish or see fish blood at the motel because there are no coolers permitted in the room. Even though I am an avid fisherman, I appreciate that Cookie has high standards. I used to stay at a motel nearby and the odor from the dumpster out back was enough to take your breath away. Not a problem at Shore Stay Suites. Some fishermen can be slobs if you let them.

The beds have pillow top mattresses and are super comfortable. The lighting is good and there are plenty of receptacles to plug in phones chargers, etc. The wi fi works great. The winter rates provide a very nice place for a reasonable price. Cookie always meets any reasonable request and treats guests like family.

Planning to return soon.

Clean, nice, but over priced. We paid $163 / night for 3 people. And the lady that runs the place is not nice. We were the only people at the place while all the other Hotles were full.
The lady mananger ask us not to come back because we asked for extra towels and wash cloths afer 2 days becase our others were dirty. No one ever came in and made the beds nor picked up the bath room in 3 days????

I have felt in love with Stay Shore Suites, this is not my first trip, one of many i refuse to stay any other place. when i need a little R&R this is where i come. Had minor eye surgery in May this is where i came. because i knew i would get peace and quiet, very nice clean cozy rooms. The manager, Ms.Cookie ann her staff, you have to love her, so warm, kind very informative knows the area well,very professional. The kitchen is stock with everything u need even a wine opener,if u need any thing u let MS Cookie know she will get it for you. I feel very safe and comfortable here. the mattress is out of this world , If you are in the area you have to experience this for your selves, sitting out on the deck upper or lower is very nice. I will be back very soon...

This hotel was unlike any other. The manager is a blessing she was so helpful and so nice to us. We felt like she made us part of a family. The hotel was so clean and neat the set up is great you have everything you need right there at the tip of your fingers. The hotel location was a blessing for us to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big street traffic we actually enjoyed a walk for a change. The bed i cant say enough it was like laying down on a pile of feathers that hotel is awsome and i suggest it be on anyones list of things to try!
