“Peace, Quiet, Lovely time”

Sawyer and Zita Lee are wonderful hosts. We reserved 2 nights at the end of September, but decided to stay a 3rd night. The peace and quiet was great. They are close to Burlington and Stowe (Von Trapps), pretty much the entire Western part of Vermont. Zita has beautiful gardens surrounding the house. Great breakfasts. One day was fresh waffles, another pancakes with blueberries, third was French toast. Fresh fruit with breakfast every morning. They are just a couple of miles from Burlington and one day we took a 1/2 day trip to Stowe via Smuglers Notch and Mount Mansfield to see the foliage. There is a lot to do in the area, Shelburne Farms, Shelburne Museum, Sightseeing boats on Lake Champlain and the shops in Burlington.
Zita provided a map with their favorite restaurants. We enjoyed local fare at Paulines. Excellent food and generous portions.
We HIGHLY recommend Bedroom #1 - king sized bed, looks south over Willow Pond and east to the Green Mts.
We are very happy we chose Willow Pond Farm B&B vs one of the places in Burlington. The country was much more relaxing and peaceful, yet close to everything. Highly Recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for Bedroom #1 - the Kingsized one facing Willow Pond Farm.

“Beautiful location, lovely hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2011

The view of the pond and gardens from our bedroom window was truly one of the best in Vermont. The hosts are kind, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast was superb- cheese blintzes with homemade blueberry sauce and sausage. Oh, and the applesauce made with rhubarb was tasty, too.

The only problem we had was that my traveling companion needed internet access. Rooms do not have internet access or TV. But if you are wanting to truly "get away from it all", this is a wonderful place to relax, feel at home and enjoy the beauty the surroundings. The gardens are large and beautifully tended.

Sometimes you can tell much about a person by the animals they own. Ebi, the owners' Cocker Spaniel, silently greeted us with warm brown eyes and a wiggling tail, the most well mannered dog I have had the pleasure to meet.

If you mention you are going to the Shelburne Museum, your wonderful hosts will give you a paper slip good for $5.00 off each admission.

I can see why people return to Willow Pond Farm again and again.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with a view of the ponds.

“so good to be back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

This was our second stay with Zita & Sawyer and it was just delightful. So nice to meet Eby and play ball with him. We stayed three nights this time. Room 3 is so comfortable. Breakfast all together cooked beautfully as we all chatted, suddenly half the morning had gone by so pleasantly. Off to visit places and restaurants at the suggestion of our friendly hosts. Back to take Eby for a walk up the hill. Such a peaceful place to start our holiday, thank you all. We are now back in a very chilly England with some lovely memories

“A home-away-from-home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely B&B, and were sad to leave! Zita & Sawyer (and their adorable pup, Ebbie!) are such warm, sweet hosts - it felt like we were visiting family! We really enjoyed sitting at the table with our hosts and the other guests and just chatting while enjoying the delicious breakfast .The grounds are incredible, and if you're a gardener, you'll think you're in heaven! We highly recommend this lovely home - we can't wait to return!

“Heartwarming experience in a beautiful and peaceful setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011

We recently enjoyed three lovely days at this incredible bed and breakfast and wish we could have stayed longer. Zita and Sawyer were warm and gracious hosts. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and delicious and was enjoyed with good conversation at the dining room table with our hosts and other guests, two of which have been coming to this B&B for 11 years! We understand why. The gardens are beautiful, the setting serene, and the views breathtaking. A soothing and heartwarming experience.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 2 which overlooks the gardens and has windows on two sides. A beautiful breeze.
