“sweet inn with a fiesty side”

We recently stayed at the Stone Hearth Inn and had a great time. There was live music both nights in the old "barn" attached to the spacious inn. It was nice to see a mix of families, locals and die hard rockers mixing at the pub and music barn. The inn keepers were young and energetic. They and their adorable two children and nanny/bar tender had great advice on things to do in the area. There were simple, but yummy breakfast options every morning including organic coffee, fresh fruit, and eggs (made your way) or chocolate chip pancakes.

It was a really nice weekend away especially coming from Masachusetts, the drive wasn't bad at all and we had time to explore the cute shops, rest (and party) at the inn and do some hiking.

They had a nice mix of luxurious rooms but also affordable ones. We had one of the affordable ones and it was definitley cozy but perfect.

“Wonderful hospitality and great lodging”

My partner and I were married here in July of 2003 and it was tops. The innkeeper Chris did a wonderful job, the food was great and all of our guests had a marvelous time. I would not have gone anywhere else. I highly recommend this inn.

“A Fantastic Experience”

The Stone Hearth Inn was a fantastic expereince. We stayed at the Inn for six days, and used its great location as a focus for our many excursions in New England. The room was great and the food was fantastic. We were really pleased to find a place that offered so complete a package of bed and breakfast, entertainment, hot tub, good location, tavern, and quiet town locale all in one. The Inn has great rates and even better Innkeepers. We are recommending this place to all of our friends, and plan to return soon.
