I was looking for a night stay in Manila, UT on a last minute reservation. After looking for availability, Steinakers Motel was the very fast one to reply my email. I found this one available and the lady over the phone was very nice. I reserved this location and I totally regret it.
This is a 4 rooms tiny Motel. The 5th room was converted into "Office, bakery" sort of place. When we arrived there on Monday afternoon, there were no one at "Office" and it was kind a deserted place and the only sign of life was in the local mini market across the street.
I finally decided to call the Motel number again and the lady said the key was under the rug. We looked around and could not find any. She agreed to come over and after (calling twice) about 30 minutes waiting she showed to give us the key. She is a very nice lady. But I thought it would be safe if the key was really left under the rug and someone took it.
The room is very small and crowded. It was fine to sleep for one night, but I noticed that there is another Motel that looked better in Manila that did not show on my internet search. I checked the price and it is about the same.
Next time I will probably try something different.
