This is without a doubt the worst location in which I spent in years! The Rodeway chain should be ashamed to have it under their name. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The outside cement stairs were crumbling, the overhead light was dim and flickering. In the room the floors creaked, the tv was old and extremely small. The bathroom was dirty and the floor vinyl was peeling up. The "free" breakfast was basic and NO TABLES to eat at. I mentioned my concerns to the desk clerk and she only could say, "we are only a small town". Come on, Kanab is a major tourist town.

Room was just OK. The air conditioning was noisy and the free breakfast was below average. There is a Comfort Inn and a Best Western in town, which had no available rooms when we made our reservations. Under no circumstances would we stay here again - we'd go to another town or city.

The rooms were clean and the service was excellent!! We travel several times a year between SLC and Phoenix and were very pleased to find this hidden treasure! We came in pretty late and the front desk help was very friendly and welcoming. We were treated so well, we made sure to stay there on the trip back also. From now on this will be the only place we will stay!

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice. Once over our honeymoon and the second time on our way home for Christmas. I can say, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and made it a point to have this be our pit stop on our way through for Christmas.
I am not trying to tell you this hotel is "The Hotel Del" or anything, but for a small town it is perfect! It was a little more expensive over our Christmas stay, but that was expected as any hotel will raise there prices during high peak season. The staff was wonderful, they even remembered us from our last trip through and gave us recommendations on food, grocery, gas, laundry and sites to see. They were alert and willing to help with anything when asked. Both rooms we stayed in were clean and refreshing. The first stay in March, we were up stairs and the staff offered to carry our luggage to the room for us. The second stay in December, we had a room with an amazing view of the pool and spa.
I have recommended this place to many close friends and look forward to traveling through again and staying at The Rodeway Inn.
