First a little about the lake: Spirit Lake is BEAUTIFUL!!! We arrived a little before sunset and the reflection on the water of the sky and the trees was breathtaking!
Now for Spirit Lake Lodge and Cabins: The lodge is nice and they sell little things like bug spray, cool pocket knives, and cards. There is a big wrap-around deck on the lodge that overlooks the meadow - perfect for watching moose or elk. The cabins are small but very cozy. They have wood burning stoves in them and ours kept us HOT all night!! We had to open the windows for a bit overnight because we were so hot! Each cabin has its own private deck and ours (Geronimo) was right in front of a stream. The stream was big enough that we could hear it from inside our cabin so we fell asleep to the bubbling water. They do have bathrooms with flushing toilets, sinks, and mirrors. The cabins are furnished with a bed (with linens), a table, a chair, a set of shelves, and a wood burning stove. There is running drinkable water. They have canoes and paddle boats you can rent... I'm not sure of the price but their website (www.spiritlakeutah.com) would probably say.
We went in July and the mosquitoes were pretty bad. The owners, Bob and Linda, told us that in August all of the mosquitoes are gone so I'd definitely recommend going in August.
