Online reservations without a hitch. Always very helpful and friendly. Manager Mr. Singh was very hospitable and friendly. Best Super 8 in Weslaco area. We have stayed they 20+ times and enjoy it.

Me and my two sisters arrived 3/16/11 stayed two nights. First night we arrived late the motel knew we were arriving around 11pm because we drove from San Antonio after flying in from Chicago. Motel knew 3 adults were to stay there. After fighting to open our door we start to settle in and we have two queen size beds and a pull out couch. Not a big deal but no pillows or sheets or blankets for the pull out couch. We call the front desk request these items, we recieved two sheets nothing else. The next morning we start getting ready to go out 3 women and the bathroom only had enough for 2 adults once again we call the front desk for more towels, they said they did not have any more. Once again we made do with what we had. In the middle of getting ready the power went out and when we called the front desk they don't know where the circuit breaker box is, we are moved to another room. By the time the power went out we had all showered we just had to dry our hair. I asked the owner if we had to check in again since I had booked the room on two separate days, she said no, ok we move all our luggage to this other room. Leave spend the entire day out arrive in the evening late and realize the key we were given in the morning did not work. I went to the front desk and I was told I had to register again because I had booked the room on two different days then my key was reactivated. Finally we are able to relax and get to bed. this time we just used the same sheets we were given the night before for the roll out bed. Next morning this room has no hot water in the shower and when you turn the shower on it sprays the entire bathroom. Two of us showered with cold water and my older sister in her 60's sponged bath she could not take the cold water. Yet the sink had hot water....made no sense. I went to the front desk told them that the we did not have hot water and the entire stay was a nightmare. The clerk/manager said she would reimburse us the entire stay. We said ok and checked out. Two wks later I call my credit card to check if I had recieved my reimbursement and no I did not. I called the Hotel spoke to Vanessa who said we would get reimbursed she said it would take some time because she had to submit paper work and by the follwoing week it should be completed she said she would call me back when it processed. 1 month later I call again now I am being told I can not get the entire stay because even though I used AA.com to book my stay AA.com went through Orbits and only what this motel charged Orbits could be returned also they needed my credit card# to do the reimbursement. The difference was 40.00. Feeling so angry and lied to I called AA.com withn 10 mins this agent customer service called the hotel, called orbits and the entire amount was returned to my account. thank you American Airlines for helping me when the owners & managers would not. Never again will I stay at a pit like Super 8 Motels. Oh did I mention that the roll out couch was full of bed bugs Yes....my older sister got bit and I got bit in one of the regular beds.

**** We give it four stars. This hotel was chosen because of it's convenient location near the International Highway in Westlaco Texas and because it offers jacuzzi rooms. My partner had dental a appointment (several extractions scheduled) the following morning. Comfort and relaxation were what we sought and that's exactly what we got. The room was large and clean and had a nice big jacuzzi tub. The staff, particularly the manager, Harry, went way out of their way to accommodate us. They did everything from check that the room was ready for occupancy and check that the jacuzzi was in good working order, before booking us, to suggesting two excellent places to eat, based on what we wanted. It's obvious that the manager wants his hotel to have the highest rating possible. We've never been better cared for in any hotel at any price. Highly recommended.

Good, clean, quiet rooms. Beds are very nice.
Unfortunately, we were in a non-smoking room, but the smoke from the smoking room right above us drifted down into the bathroom in such a thick cloud, I had to take an antihistomine.
Also, the staff follows really annoying policies: our stay was for 4 nights, but our room keys didn't open the doors on day two, and I had to take them back to the front desk for reprogramming. The Exercise room has to be opened by the staff; not with your room key. The Pool was locked. They have free Wi-Fi, but didn't give us the login/password to access it, and we had to ask the front desk staff. You have to ask the staff at the front desk to let you use the facilities they advertise. It's like asking your Mom every time you want to do something fun. The outdoor spa looks nice, but is not heated.
