We visited this past weekend for a baseball tournament. Our coach reserved a block of rooms in advance. Our group of 6 families were divided among floor 2 and floor 3. Upon check-in we encountered Rebecca. She is the rudest front desk clerk I have EVER encountered. She asked what our plates were, and if we did not know that what kind of vehicle we had. I looked up at her as my wife answered. Rebecca replied "atleast one of you are paying attention." As other families checked in, their first comment was also about the front desk clerk. At this point, it was funny to compare stories of how rude she was to each family. However, once she decided to block the stairs with chairs so we could not use the stairs, things got serious. It was much easier going floor to floor via the stairs than waiting on the elevator. We had one child who will NOT even step into an elevator. Is she not aware of fire codes. On the phone, with another employee she referred to us as WHITE people. Of course, she was not white, but if she has problem with different races, she should not be working with the public. Her actions/attitude are completely out of line. I have emailed Comfort Inn, who said I would have a reply within 3days, but have still not heard from them. Rooms were gross, 1 family found huge roach, nonsmoking rooms smelled of smoke, pool was very small.

We only had rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor when your coach booked us. He agreed to the rooms so this is not our fault but I am sorry. And sometimes when people do not get thier way it all of a sudden make us rude people waiting on you but I assure you we are trying or best to make you happy. And even if that person was rude she no longer works here.
