The customer service at this hotel was worthy of 5 stars. The room was fine clean simple
a small table with two chairs and a pullout bed/couch ..Bed was very comfortable , plenty of pillows..Bathroom large clean..The downside is yes there is no elevator but really unless you
are elderly or handicap it should not be a problem to walk a flight of stairs. While the room
was smell free....The Hallways did REEK of smoke and I do mean Reek..However the price location and outstanding Customer service front desk staff ..Louis gave me a discount on checkin for parents weekend ..

This was a good clean place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Yes the furniture shows some were, but i'm more interested in a clean safe place to stay and it was definitly that. The only negatives for me were that in a no smoking room our bed spread had 2 cigarete burns in it. It was clean and did not smell, but it would seem comon sense to take the bed spread out of service. There is no way a normal person would not have noticed it and it was the first thing i noticed when i looked at the bed. Why would you want a guests first impression of thier room to be negative? The bed is the whole reason for even visiting your hotel.

All in all it was a good experience and I will consider hotel if i am ever in Stephenville again.

I will never use this hotel again. First all, no elevator, very steep stairs for handicap mother and bags. Once upstairs no air conditioning in hallway, and no air on in room. It is over 100 degrees outside so you can imagine how hot it was. Room never cooled off completely during our stay. Dead bugs in room, decor very out of date, bathroom disgusting. Breakfast was very limited, cold, and distasteful.. I stay at several hotels during the year, and this was by far the WORST experience. May NEVER stay at ANY Econo Lodge again due to the experience with this one... I paid $65/night for this hotel and it isn't worth $25/night.... ADVISE - STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! DISGUSTING!!!!

No elevator in this Comfort Inn which is now The Inn of Stephenville. Very steep flight to climb with two year old and bags in tow! Air was off when we entered the room, and it took awhile for it to cool down. Was told rooms were indoors. This only applies to the rooms upstairs that you get to without the elevator-remember! Downstairs open outdoors.
A.M. buffet had several choices. Beds had four plush pillows, and were comfortable. Room had large bathroom and was very clean. If you don't have bad knees and kids to carry maybe this one is for you.
