Checked in for two nights as a walk-in. Paid upfront with credit card. After seeing the bathroom (one word: ugggh!) decided to relocate for the second night. When I went down to the front desk, there was the clerk AND the manager. They assured me that the second night was removed from my credit card. They even printed out my folio showing this credit. However, after a more careful look, the credit line on my receipt simply transferred this charge rather than provide a true credit back to my credit card. Which is harder to believe: a hotel manager that cannot perform a simple charge reversal OR a hotel manager that is willing to be dishonest in the presence of his employees?!! STAY AWAY... THERE ARE MANY MORE CHOICES ON THE ISLAND!!
